Hyundai sonata or elantra as first car?

I am about to turn 16 and I want a cool car. I would refer leather and my limit id about 20 grand. I would like to have a sonata we but they are over precede my limit a little. I like the elantra and my dad would get it fully loaded but I sometimes feel like its a girly car. What do u think I should get? are they manly at all?
