Why can't I view my messages on Deviantart.com?

This has been going on for many, many days now, and I'm sick of it. Every time I open the Deviantart homepage, I keep seeing the same retro white background with everything rendered to standard. You know, when all the pictures are on the far left, the text at the same level, and the huge white background taking up most of the page (If anyone knows what exactly I'm talking about) I can't comment, I cant see or reply my messages, I can't even hardly open my own homepage! The only pages that seem to be normal are the settings and the upgrading to premium page. As far as I know those are the only pages on the site that are normal, but what's wrong??? Even when I constantly reboot my internet it's still the same. Is it because of bad connection or is the site being undergoing some changes?? Can someone tell me what the deal is please?
